Honda Luncurkan New Tiger |
Jakarta, PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM) Jumat (14/07)di arena PRJ Kemayoran mengumumkan perubahan yang revolusioner pada desain sepeda motor New Tiger, yang akan mulai dipasarkan pada bulan Juli tahun 2007 melalui seluruh jaringan penjualan sepeda motor Honda di Indonesia.
Sejak pertama kali diproduksi tahun 1994, Tiger telah dikenal sebagai sepeda motor yang cukup bertenaga dan salah satu varian eksklusif tipe sport Honda. Sejak tahun 1995, komunitas "Tiger Club" juga mulai bermunculan di pelbagai kota di Indonesia, dan saat ini menjadi klub sepeda motor yang cukup disegani di Indonesia. Dalam 12 tahun terakhir ini, Tiger menjadi sepeda motor yang sangat digemari para penggemarnya baik untuk penggunaan sehari-hari atau hanya sekedar dikendarai pada akhir pekan. Informasi mengenai Tigerpun mengalami peningkatan yang cukup pesat dan banyak dijumpai di pelbagai media dan internet melalui pelbagai milis. Selera konsumenpun mulai mengalami perubahan, Tiger menjadi sepeda motor yang mampu mengekspresikan pemiliknya melalui bermacam modifikasi sesuai selera pemiliknya
Untuk memenuhi harapan para penggemar Honda Tiger serta para peminat tipe sport yang baru, Tiger generasi terbaru ini tampil dengan desain yang lebih dinamis dan menawarkan keunggulan tipe sport saat dikendarai para pemiliknya, baik di tengah padatnya lalu lintas kota ataupun kenyamanannya saat perjalanan jauh ke luar kota.

Rem belakang tipe cakram yang tampil lebih sporty dan bergaya moge, menggunakan cakram berdiameter 220mm dengan sistim hidrolis berpiston tunggal membuat pengereman lebih pakem dan aman.
Suspensi belakang meredam dengan sempurna, "Mono Shock" nyaman pada semua kondisi jalan dan tampil makin Sporty
Mesin
Mesin Honda Tiger Baru ini dilengkapi dengan SASS (Secondary Air Supply System), sehingga memenuhi standar baku mutu Euro II. SASS mengatur penyemprotan Udara bersih (O2) ke dalam saluran buang, agar bereaksi dengan gas sisa pembakaran (CO & HC) menjadi gas CO2 & H2O yang tidak berbahaya
Keseluruhan desain baru pada Tiger baru ini akan tampil dalam 4 warna untuk tipe velg racing (Cast Wheel) yaitu Black, Silver, Red, Blue, dan 3 warna untuk tipe velg jari-jari (Spoke) yaitu Black Red, Black Blue dan Blue Silver.
New Tiger yang akan diluncurkan dalam 2 varian ini akan dijual dengan harga Rp 28 juta untuk tipe velg jari-jari dan harga Rp 32,6 juta untuk tipe velg racing (Harga on the road di Jakarta).

Tips aman pulang kampung |
Persiapan pribadi
- Persiapan kondisi phisik baik kendaraan yang dipakai maupun phisik individu, karena untuk touring dengan jarak menengah (100-200 km) dibutuhkan waktu perjalanan sedikitnya 3 - 4 jam perjalanan sekali jalan. - Sebelum melakukan perjalanan sebaiknya makan seperlunya (paling ngga perut ke-isi dulu).
Persiapan/barang yang kudu dipersiapkan - Pakaian yang adem, maksudnya sesuaikan pakaian yang akan dipakai dengan lokasi tujuan touring. Kalo mo kedaerah dingin jangan lupa pakai baju yang agak tebelan. - body protector yang dipasang di-dada jika diperlukan, banyak kow dijual di pinggir jalan, kalo ngga ada, bisa juga pake lapisan koran beberapa lembar. - Jaket, sebaiknya gunakan jacket yang pas dengan badan, jangan yang model sayap batman yang berkibar-kibar. Hal ini dapat memepngaruhi hambatan angin yang ditimbulkan, dan mempengaruhi kecepatan. - Jas Hujan, sebaiknya disiapkan, kali kali ajah hujuan. Sebaiknya pilih jas hujan model terpisah antara baju dengan celana, kalo perlu yang pake ada penutup sepatu. - Sarung tangan, ini gunanya supaya tangan kita masih bisa mulus pas megang tangan pacar/istri/pasangan kita hehehe, selain itu untuk melindungi tangan dari terik matahari, bahkan jika menggunakan protektor juga sangat baik untuk melindungi tangan jika terjadi kecelakaan. - Sepatu, pilih yang modelnya sangat nyaman dengan kaki kita, jangan kesempitan. Dan sebaiknya pilih yang modelnya menutupi mata kaki kita. Bisa juga pake sepatu model sneaker (sepatu kets) - Kacamata hitam, ini penting untuk ngeredam keganasan matahari di siang hari bolong. - Helm, sebaiknya gunakan yang model full-face, atau paling tidak helm yang dapat menutupi kepala bagian belakang (di atas leher). Jangan pake model helm cetok yang biasa dipake kalo JJS (jalan jalan sore) di komplek/kampung, itu mah ngga aman untuk kepala kita. Helm sepeda juga tidak disarankan mengingat rasio kecepatan sepeda dengan motor berbeda, sehingga ketahanan helm pun juga berbeda. - Surat surat kendaraan, seperti SIM, STNK dan KTP, siapa tau ada pemeriksaan dijalan, kalo ngga lengkap bisa mengganggu perjalanan lainnya. - Duit secukupnya. Untuk keamanan sebaiknya tidak membawa uang kas terlalu banyak. Anda bisa ambil di ATM begitu sampai tujuan mudik, selain nyaman juga aman. - Tools motor yang cukup, biasanya cukup bawa tools standar dari motor - Ada baiknya juga membawa : · busi cadangan yang masih bagus · lap kering/ kanebo · amplas, · bohlam lampu depan, lampu rem dan sign. · kabel kopling cadangan, · kabel gas cadangan, · tools untuk tambal ban, dsbnya....tapi kalo anda sudah bawa semuanya, biasanya anda akan ditunjuk sebagai bengkel berjalan : )
Kendaraan
Untuk kesiapan kendaraan, jangan lupa untuk memastikan bahwa kendaraan yang kita bawa dalam keadaan sehat atau laik jalan jauh. Yang sebaiknya harus diperiksa : - Olie mesin, cepat ganti apabila sudah lewat batas KM-nya. - Minyak Rem. - Kekencangan/kerenggangan rantai motor - Kopling, kalo selah kopling dirasa sangat berat, coba cek lagi. - Ban, kalo udah gundul,mendingan mikir dulu deh, apalagi kalo akan melaksanakan perjalanan jauh dalam kondisi hujan. - Cek kondisi lampu-lampu kendaraan, terutama lampu depan (head lamp), lampu belakang, lampu sein. - Kaki-kaki, cek dan rasakan di kemudi apakah kurang stabil saat jalan lurus, jika ya segera cek untuk stel velg atau kelurusan kaki-kaki, komstir, tabung sok depan. - Ada baiknya untuk memeriksakan kondisi kendaraan/motor di bengkel kepercayaan, yah sekalian tune-up lah, biar dijalan dapet jalan dengan baik dan tenang.
Etika Touring - Jaga jarak aman antar kendaraan, tidak ada aturan baku jarak aman dalam berkendara tetapi ingat, berikan ruang gerak untuk anda menghindar dari keadaan yang tidak diinginkan misalnya kendaraan di depan anda berhenti mendadak atau menikung mendadak tanpa sinyal - Tetap menjaga etika berlalulintas yang baik. Jangan melanggar rambu rambu lalu lintas dengan seenaknya, seperti terobos lampu merah, selip kiri selip kanan tanpa sein, jangan buang sampah se-enaknya.... hehehe - Oh iya, sekarang ada aturan baru . gak boleh istirahat di pom bensin. Siap-siap deh cari tempat istirahat yang OK. Kalo bisa ada kamar mandinya supaya di tengah perjalanan kalo kita mo seger2 bisa mandi. Favourit gue sih cari masjid yang bersih. - Nyalakan lampu depan kendaraan. Hal ini penting supaya kendaran lain yang didepan atau dari arah berlawanan dapat dengan cepat mengetahui keberadaan motor kita dan lebih dapat mengantisipasi insiden. - Berhati hati di daerah tertentu, sebaiknya kita tetap waspada jika ada hal2 yang mencurigakan. Sediakan nomor-nomor penting yang bisa dihubungi. - Berdo'a . ini penting banget nih . suka ada penampakan terutama kalo kita jalan malem .. ihhhh sereeeeeeeeeeeeem - Nah buat bikers klub, jangan lupa tuh kalo ketemuan dan kenal dengan bikers dari klub lainnya ga ada salahnya tegur sapa tuh . klakson kek, kasih jempol kek, asal jangan ngagetin aja yah . ntar jatoh ga jadi lebaran lu.
